Countershaft in best quality perfect for 4 and 5 speed gearboxes.

The main shaft is a central component for safety, it is the connection between the engine and the rear wheel. Original Innocenti mainshafts are more than 50 years old and nobody can be sure what has happened to the mainshaft during this period of time. Especially with improper assembly with too high torque, the mainshaft can shear off at the transition of the thread to the mainshaft. This is a huge danger that can be avoided with a new main shaft of good quality.

For the new rear brake drums with a taper of 8°, the required tightening torque is 147-161 Nm. Tighten to the lower value of 147 Nm with a torque wrench and then check that the locking plate for the rear wheel nut can be fitted. If this is not the case, gradually increase the tightening torque until one of the holes in the brake drum is aligned with the hole in the locking plate. Insert the hexagon socket screw of the locking plate with medium-strength threadlocker and tighten with a tightening torque of 14 - 14.7 Nm
