Restoration Tip

As recommended in Sticky's Spanner's Manual, it's a good idea to carry out a dry fit of the major body components before painting. This allows you to check the alignment of the side panels, legshields, running boards, horncast, mudguard and headset.

It also gives you the opportunity to check that the floor struts and running board support arms are straight and make any necessary adjustments before the paintwork is completed.
