A quality Scootopia-made Series 3 handlebar olive clamp hardware set, supplied with the olive clamps, bolts, nuts and washers required for assembly.

These components form part of the handlebar gear and control mechanism and are ideal for replacing worn, damaged or missing original hardware during a restoration or handlebar rebuild.

Innocenti changed from the hex-head Series 3-style bolt to a cross-head screw on early-production 125 Special and SX models.

Sticky's Spanner's Manual notes that the U-shaped bracket can sometimes distort the olive and cause a stiff gear change. Excess paint inside the headset can also contribute to the problem. Cleaning excess paint from the olive recess can help, while fitting a washer beneath the bracket can reduce pressure on the olive.

Fitting Tip:
