A quality Scootopia-made handlebar olive clamp hardware set for Lambretta DL/GP models, supplied with the olive clamps, bolts, nuts and washers required for the assembly.

The olive clamp system is an important part of the handlebar gear and control mechanism. This set is ideal for replacing worn, damaged or missing original hardware during a handlebar rebuild or full scooter restoration.

Innocenti changed from the hex-head Series 3-style bolt to a cross-head screw on early-production 125 Special and SX models.

Sticky's Spanner's Manual also notes that the U-shaped bracket can sometimes distort the olive and make the gear change stiff. Excess paint inside the headset can cause a similar problem. Removing excess paint from the olive recess can help, while fitting a washer beneath the bracket can also reduce pressure on the olive.

Fitting Tip:
Ensure the olive recess inside the headset is free from excess paint and debris before assembly. This helps prevent the olive from binding and can improve gear change operation.
