Cristian Mazelli is a dedicated Vespa enthusiast and he has been most active on the Italian scooter racing scene for many years. During his time as a racer he was constantly faced with material and part quality problems he deemed as unsuitable for the task in hand. To ease these bottlenecks in supply he decided to use his career-based knowledge of industrial research and development to create parts under his own name that he now markets under the 'CRIMAZ' logo. The CRIMAZ rear wheel disc-brake system is compatible with all Vespa largeframe models equipped with 10? wheels, apart from the vintage wideframes. The only modification required for successful integration is to the thread found on the brake dust-protector plate. Otherwise the components of this kit simply replace the original drum-brake parts.

The 200mm disc is attached to the wheel studs using tabs located on its outer diameter. The floating 30mm brake calliper is internally mounted and a suitably modified brake drum is included in the kit to facilitate this.

Due to the hydraulic operation of this brake a suitable rear-brake pedal will also be required. CRIMAZ have a plug and play solution available in the form of their innovative hydraulic rear-brake pedal (#30004200).
