Vespa Super Rally Old Vespa Light Switch DC & 12V Conversions

Vespa - Light Switch - DC or 12 Volt AC Conversions - Rally, Super Old Vespa.

Most Common Switch.

Functions:
Light Switch Centre Position = Lights OFF
Light Switch Left Position = Pilot Light
Light Switch Right Position = Full Lights
Lights High and Low Beam = Terminal 6 Low Beam Brown - Terminal 7 High Beam Violet.
Horn
Ignition Cut Out Button ( Compatible with Headset Ignition Switch Types and Ignition Cut out at Seat types - Just do not use this terminal if not required. )

High and Low Beam are powered from link 9 ( AC ) via terminal 3 and rear lamp output is terminal 1 ( See picture below ).
Pilot lights powered via terminal 2 input ( Usually DC as Standard or AC with 12V Conversions ) - output for headlight pilot bulb terminal 5 and output for rear lamp and speedo bulb terminal 1.
Horn button only connects when pressed and connects terminal 4 to earth.
Ignition cut out is terminal M which connects to earth when pressed.
Terminal 8 is an AC output supply to an instrument bulb to show when the lights main or pilot are switched on.
