A side-stand fitted to a Vespa is just as cool as it is practical! Instead of having to pull it up awkwardly onto the centre-stand every time you park, you can kick out the side-stand and leave your scooter leaning casually to one side.

Due to their high quality of production these side-stands are extremely stable and solidly built ensuring long use. These side-stands are mounted between the frame of the scooter and the existing centre-stand. In order to be able to mount and use both stands a longer set of M6 fixing bolts will also be required. Retention of the centre-stand is useful for things like parking on slopes, refuelling, tyre replacement or just routine maintenance.

The classic under the sidestands

The existing range of side-stands that we have had available (now labelled '82°') were designed for use with the Vespa PK, PX and T5 models and required, along with every other currently produced make of side-stand, modification in order to be fitted to other Vespa models.

Instead of fiddly mounting with 4 individual washers are included in the scope of delivery of the SIP side stand two shims, which optimally transfer the force introduced by the mounting bolts into the frame rail.
