Vespa Rally 200 Femsa Electronic Ignition HT Coil - Scootopia

The most common reason for striking or spinning ignitions is the pickup truck. This relatively inexpensive spare part can be exchanged quickly.

Typical symptom for a defective pickup are starting problems with cold and/or warm engine. These are difficult to reproduce and occur very unexpectedly.

Cable colors of the original Femsatronic:

Blue = Resistance = 250 Ohm
Green = PickUp = 280 Ohm
Red = Excitation voltage (charging coil) = 170 Ohm

Measure all values against ground, without connected ignition box (CDI).
Distance of the pick-up to the cam: 0,25-0,30mm
