From their entry into the motorcycle market in 1955 Yamaha have grown to be one of the big four motorcycle manufacturers in Japan. During the 70’s they won the first of many 500cc world championships and have maintained that success through to the modern era of Moto GP. During the 80’s Yamaha introduced the EXUP, a new exhaust system for 4-stroke engines that included a power valve which optimized the width of an engines powerband. The first of their YZF models the R1 was released in 1998 and shortly followed by the R6 in 1999 and since then they have gone from strength to strength especially with the introduction of their MT range in recent years. Scorpion have a long history of producing performance exhausts for numerous Yamaha models over the years and have supported many teams in top flight racing. The new full system is constructed from premium T304 stainless steel pipework and comes with a full fitting kit for a straight forward installation. Riders can select from three Serket Taper finishes, Carbon Fibre, Brushed Stainless Steel or Titanium. Riders can also select from our popular retro inspired Red Power range. Like Serket Taper the Red Power comes in three finishes, Black Ceramic, Brush Stainless Steel or Titanium. The install of the new system requires no changes to the bikes standard settings and doesn't require a remap. You simply fit and ride! Riders will instantly benefit from a sharper throttle response and an increase in bhp improving the bikes rideability. The product offers the bike a generous weight saving to further improve performance. Riders will be able to enjoy a much deeper sportier tone with an improved acoustic range being delivered. To compliment the looks and styling of the bike and the system we have released a new foot peg delete option which fits with either the O.E System or partners perfectly with the new range of Scorpion exhaust systems.
