Wiring looms suitable for ignition tuning conversions, enabling a much simpler integration of various aftermarket performance ignition systems.

To simplify the integration of a tuning ignition while avoiding any incorrect wiring connections, we now have these SIP conversion wiring looms available. These facilitate the conversion to a performance ignition type, such as the SIP VAPE ignition.

These high quality wiring looms are painstakingly hand-made in Austria, while we retained full control over the guaranteed material quality and cable over-sizing – no direct reproductions here! All cable lengths and connections are suitably prepared for immediate installation, plug and play! The sections prepared for the rear light and headlight are purposely left longer than the originals to ease their mounting and connection.

We especially recommend these wiring looms to enable a performance ignition, such as the SIP VAPE type, to be fitted to your scooter. The basis for the connections is provided by the CEV headlight connector (# 57274000), the connections are then joined directly to the ignition, eliminating the need for the OE junction box. Minimising the amount of connections also minimises the potential source of faults.

The switching is arranged to allow continuous operation of the dipped headlight, as is found on more modern two-wheelers. The whole wiring loom is fused, using a high end fuse box for added reliability. These wiring looms are intended for use with an AC (alternating current) voltage regulator. The scooters wiring represents the simpler variety WITHOUT a battery, although a SIP speedometer for example can still be attached and operated.

Information: These wiring looms require slight modification, according to the choice of ignition lock and handlebar light switches. A complete wiring loom diagram, along with an array of connections, shrink tubes, fixings and all the necessary small parts involved are included in the delivery.
