Restoration Tip

Sticky's Spanner's Manual recommends dry-fitting the major body components before painting. This allows you to check the alignment of the side panels, legshields, running boards, horncast, mudguard and headset before committing to the paintwork.

It's also a good opportunity to check that the floor struts and running board support arms are straight, allowing any necessary adjustments to be made without risking damage to your new paint.
