SIP PERFORMANCE 壽_蹄搪 The dawn of a new era. The first hightech shock absorber that has been exclusively designed to fit the Vespa PX series. We are able to present a modern and groundbreaking suspension that will slingshot your Oldschool scooter unerringly into the 壽_蹄碳Here and Now壽_蹄蘝!
Features such as a continuously adjustable spring preload, a progressive spring and a 20-fold rebound control adjustment are but a few of the sophisticated characteristics of this absorber. Technical refinements such as a 12.5mm damper rod or an additional guide plate for the upper rubber mount provide improved stability for the suspension. Of course, only high-quality materials are used in manufacturing the shock absorber. Additionally, the absorber features precise and true to the detail CNC machining as well as a perfect finish and surface protection.
The continuously adjustable spring preload allows for a stronger preload of the shock absorber spring in the basic setting 壽_蹄搪 the forces that are compressing the absorber will thus meet an early counterforce. The spring preload is adjusted by two lock rings which function as effective safeguards against unintended adjustment. Of course, an adjusting tool is included in delivery.
Furthermore, our shock absorbers are equipped with a progressive spring which features spring windings with decreasing clearance (progressive). Only progressively wound springs ensure a really comfortable response characteristic while breaking, riding with luggage or a buddy on your scooter. This means the spring will respond very softly at the beginning and will then grow 壽_蹄碳stronger壽_蹄蘝 under heavier loads / compression.
The rebound adjustment positively completes the overall picture of the absorber. It influences the rebound characteristics of the absorber, i.e. this adjustment regulates the response behaviour while riding over road bumps, rough roads and also while braking. You can adjust the rebound control to 20 different levels (壽_蹄碳Clicks壽_蹄蘝). If you turn the rebound control clockwise, the rebound damping increases, it decreases if the control is turned counter-clockwise (if seen from above).
Info: It might be necessary to slightly modify the shock absorber seating with Grimeca disc brakes. The factory-made plastic coating can differ a lot in manufacturing precision. A job that can be done both fast and without problems at home.
