The lambda sensor plugs into this device, exposing it to cleaner air than the exhaust, effectively tricking the ECU into thinking the catalytic converter is installed and functioning efficiently. Install this spacer on your rear (downstream, post-cat) oxygen sensor to effectively eliminate catalyst efficiency codes. This is recommended for vehicles that do not have "Stage 2" software. Fitting this part does not change the legality of running a de-cat on the public highway. Please ensure this part is legal in your country before fitting.
