"When we refer to 壽_蹄碳Wideframe壽_蹄蘝 VESPA models we mean the VESPA 125 V1-33/VM/VN/ 150 VL/VB1/VD/VGL1. Original wideframe VESPAs are not really suited to long distance travel due to their lack of a descent top or cruising speed. To make it worse they are not so easy to tune either. The much simpler solution is to fit a PX or T5 motor along with the obvious advantages of a modern motor that an electric ignition and a possible 20-30 PS performance can provide. Higher cruising speeds and enduring reliability of all engine components is the welcome result.

In order to mount the PX motor successfully and inconspicuously within your wideframe VESPA we have an adaptor kit available in order to connect both the engine unit pivot and the PX suspension unit to the frame. According to model, modification to the frame may be necessary around the carburettor area, to the side panels and for motors with more than 125cc, next to the exhaust outlet stub. Make sure that the wheel fits properly and does not catch on the frame during assembly. If you wish to retain the 10'' PX wheel the front wheel assembly should also be changed to enable a 10'' to be used. There is a conversion kit available in case you want to mount an 8'' wheel to the PX motor. An electrical wiring harness conversion kit to upgrade to an electronic ignition is also available, new switches for the lights and rear brake pedal as well as a suitable voltage regulator unit will also be necessary.
