The use of this gear kit it also the simplest method to convert your small frame motor from a 3 speed, to a 4 speed gear box. The extra gear cog enables a more effective exploitation of the power created by the motor. An advantage, even for the more mildly tuned motor setups!

The gear cog kit includes 4 separate output shaft gear cogs with 58, 54, 50 and 46 cog teeth respectively, an input shaft assembly with 4 gear cogs attached with 22, 18, 14 and 10 cog teeth respectively, a gear selector spider and a safety washer. If it is only the gear cogs that need replacing, you cannot go wrong with this gear cog kit and its unbeatable value-for-money. This kit fits the following models of small frame VESPA without any extra parts or indeed, modifications being necessary: VESPA 50S III/ Special V5B3TIII/ V5B4TII/ SR(D)/ 100 II/ 125 PV II/ ET3 II/ PK50/ S/ SS/ XL/ 2/ FL/ PK80-125S/ PK125/ ETS/ N/ XL/ XL2.

For the upgrade from a 3 speed gearbox to be made possible the following VESPA models also require an output shaft suitable for a 4 speed gear box to be ordered for successful inclusion in your motor setup: VESPA 50 I/ V5 A1T -> 92876/ 90 I/ V9 A1T -> 25000. 3 speed PK models do not require a replacement output shaft as the existing shaft can already handle the extra gear cog.
