Made in Italy! The 'SIP Performance' set of four clutch friction plates are produced using a high quality cork-mix or black carbon preparation. In contrast to the original friction plates the frictional surfacing is separated into twenty-four segments, so guaranteeing perfect lubrication and improved cooling combined with an ideal transfer of power! These features, and more, prove that these clutch friction plates belong in the premier division of Vespa motor components.

TUNING RACE - for professionals and for tuned engines

A common problem with the Cosa clutch plates are worn "noses". This is due to soft carrier material. The SIP PERFORMANCE "Race" clutch linings are made of a harder carrier material. This enormously increases the life of the "noses".

Helpful Hint : Make sure that you reassemble the frictional and separator clutch plates in the correct order. Also check that the plates are not warped or bent out of shape as this leads to the clutch unit not being able to separate properly.

Don't forget to soak the new friction plates in gearbox oil overnight before assembly. The clutch pressure plate and push-rod should also be checked for wear and tear and replaced as necessary.
