Vespa PX125-200 MY Disc PINASCO Cosa 2 Bull Clutch

  • Ø 118,03mm, Øi 108 mm
  • 4 plates
  • basket and inner part cnc machined, for 10 springs

The new Pinasco Bull Clutch is based around a 12-spring design and features a solid CNC machined high strength steel clutch bell, which has been developed and tested on racing scooters up to 37 bhp. The bell has a swallowtail bushing interface with the clutch centre which allows Pinasco to ensure minimal clutch drag, even under the toughest racing conditions. Supplied with a clutch cork and steel set, clutch centre, circlip, and two strengths of clutch springs, allowing owners to change the feel of the clutch easily.

The Cosa clutch is a further development of the old PX clutch, which was already used in a similar form in the 1950s. With the improved design of the clutch in the Vespa Cosa, more power could be transmitted and all problems with a slipping clutch were permanently solved. This makes the Cosa clutch a better starting point for tuned engines. However, its basket is not designed for particularly high power. For this reason, there are different variants of reinforcements on the market to suit every level of performance and expansion.

PINASCO has also taken care or the clutch topic for the Vespa Largeframe models, and brings the Bull Clutch to the market. The clutch bell is milled from the solid. The inner and outer parts of the clutch bell are made in one piece. There are therefore no rivets that can shear off. The outer basket and base plate interlock via 8 solid teeth each. This considerably increases the contact surface for power transmission. Between the bell and the base plate, there is space for 12 springs.

With its stable construction, the PINASCO Bull Clutch is designed to transmit higher power. Two spring sets are included in the scope of delivery, with which the hardness of the clutch can be adjusted to the respective requirements. The supplied plates are covered with cork. The clutch cover must be reworked for assembly.
